NICE AT RIO +20

At the Copenhagen Fashion Summit 2012, the fashion industry successfully outlined a framework for engaging consumers in sustainable consumption of fashion, which was handed over to the Danish EU Presidency and the European Commission. The framework will also be presented at the UN conference on sustainable development - Rio+20 negotiations 20-22 June.

Participants included Robin Schulié, buyer for Maria Luisa Paris, Lulu Kennedy of Fashion East, London, the designer Maarten van der Horst, the designer Henrik Vibskov, and the designer Christoffer Lundman. The event was hosted by fashion journalist Sami Sykkö.
